SWPC announces the preferred bidder for Jubail 4 and Jubail 6 IWP

Saudi Water Partnerships Company (SWPC) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the evaluation process for the bid received from the private sector for Jubail 4 and Jubail 6 Independent Water Plant, which will be established in the eastern province south of Jubail with a potable water production capacity of 600,000 m3/day, This project will be developed and operated by the private sector for a duration of 25 years from the project’s commercial operation date expected in the first quarter of 2028. The scope of the project will also encompass the construction of an electrical substation connected to the main power source via a transmission line to support the project and the associated infrastructure. Additionally, it will involve the connection to the Jubail Water Transmission Complex.

Following the receipt and evaluation of the bid, SWPC is pleased to announce the preferred bidder for Jubail 4 and Jubail 6 Independent Water Plant:

This project signifies a continuation of the collaborative efforts between the public and private sectors in the domain of water production within the Kingdom, in alignment with the National Water Strategy, which is dedicated to addressing critical challenges and reforming the water and wastewater sector to ensure the sustainable development of water resources in the Kingdom while underscoring the importance of delivering high-quality services at reasonable prices, in accordance with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
